Got stopped for running a redlight (just spaced it, I'd worked 11 hours and was like halfway through an hour and a half ride home) and going a little over the limit. Just got a verbal warning. The cop was very interested in finding out if there were drugs in my Mercedes. Huh, wonder why.

I've been asked if I have any drugs or weapons in the car every time I've been stopped. Seems like standard fare police questioning.

Never got asked when I was stopped in our Jeep Patriot. He also asked if he could search it, and knowing he wouldn't find a spec of dirt in my car I said yes. He didn't search it, but he could've.

Eh, it was a valid stop, I totally blew the light and didn't hit my brakes at all.
